YSL - ABUSE IS NOT LOVE

One of our favourite projects and one close to heart considering the current South African landscape.

YSL South Africa tasked us with the production of the local rollout of their take on the Global “Mistaken for Love - Abuse is not Love”.

Using the Global version a creative guideline we scripted, shot and edited the narrative performances by Melanie Bala, Zulu Mecca, Candice Modiselle and Gugu Nyatsumba who are 4 of South Africa’s most powerful voices.

3 weeks were spent on preproduction, the shoot was completed in 1 day and post production was 2 weeks including feedback and approvals from the Global Team,
